TBIs and Brain Injuries Causing Vision Issues After a New Mexico Trucking Accident
A traumatic brain injury, or TBI, is a serious type of brain injury. It can be caused by a New Mexico trucking accident which is significant enough to rattle the brain, impact the brain, pierce the brain, or otherwise cause damage to the brain from trauma, shaking, or swelling. Brain injuries are common in 18 wheeler wrecks because of the sheer amount of force that a large commercial truck such as a big rig, semi tractor trailer, or other large box truck could cause. Some TBIs are serious enough to cause vision issues, particularly accidents resulting in violent shaking of the head or impacts to the back of the head.
